This statement outlines the information that AnswerMate and InternetSeer collects from you, how your information is used, and the steps we take to protect your information while using the AnswerMate Service (AnswerMate).

AnswerMate Values and respects the privacy of customers. Because we gather certain types of information about our Customers we want to help you understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses the types of information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it. These privacy practices apply to the AnswerMate Web site that you were viewing when you clicked through to this policy, which is operated by InternetSeer, its partners, divisions or affiliates. These privacy practices apply only to online transactions, activity and to all email communications. All credit card transactions are processed through secure connections. AnswerMate uses proven technologies that improve the privacy of our Customers' information.

AnswerMate will not sell your email address to anyone without your express permission and we control all e-mail delivery to assure your privacy. When we do share information with our partners and advertisers, it is in aggregate form, and does not identify you personally. AnswerMate does not collect or use any information about you except for the information that you provide or is publicly available, and this information is used solely to make the services provided more relevant to your interests. Under no circumstances is your e-mail address ever shared with advertisers.

By becoming an AnswerMate Customer, you agree to the AnswerMate Terms and Conditions. This includes your agreement to receive communications including announcements, updates and other occasional information.

The Information We Collect

When you register for an AnswerMate account, we request the following identifying information:

· Company Name

· Address

· Telephone Number

· E-mail Address

· Website Address

We collect the following personally identifying information from AnswerMate administrators and other AnswerMate representatives using AnswerMate:

· First Name

· Last Name

· E-mail Address

How We Use This Information

All personally identifying information that AnswerMate collects from you is used as a security feature to help protect your customer inquiries and other contact information stored on AnswerMate. This information is also used to customize your visits to the AnswerMate site.

Your e-mail address is used to send administrative messages or other communications regarding your use of AnswerMate (for instance, you may receive an alert by e-mail when a customer has sent you a new inquiry through AnswerMate).

If you choose to let us do so, AnswerMate may also use your e-mail address to notify you of many other system events. If you do not wish to receive some of these e-mail notices, you may opt out of some of these notices, but not all.

At times, we may use your information to statistically analyze the use of our site, improve our content and product offerings, and customize AnswerMate's content and services to better meet your needs. Your personally identifying information is not used to monitor your activities on our site. In addition, we do not sell, trade, or rent your personally identifying information to third parties. We may, however, disclose certain non-identifying aggregated information to third parties about the users of our services.

We will not use your personally identifying information for any purpose other than as set forth herein unless we believe in good faith such disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights, or the safety or rights of other users or the public.

How We Protect You

You must choose a Username and Password for your AnswerMate account. Along with the Security Code assigned to your account, these are used to give you secure access to your AnswerMate account and prevent others from assuming your identity under false pretenses. To ensure your security, never reveal your Username or Password to anyone.  If you feel your security has been compromised, change your user name and password immediately.

When using our system, your personally identifying information will not be seen by customers when you respond to their website inquiries. If you disclose any of your personally identifying information to a customer, such as your full name, you do so at your own risk. Information you disclose to any party other than AnswerMate (including customers who contact you through the AnswerMate Service) is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

A limited number of AnswerMate employees have access to your personal information, but only in cases where it is absolutely necessary to retrieve that information. All employees must sign a confidentiality agreement prior to working for AnswerMate that prohibits them from disclosing user information to people outside of our company, unless disclosing that information is necessary to protect our service, site, users, or other parties.

In addition, AnswerMate makes reasonable efforts to protect your personal data stored on our servers is against unauthorized access from outside parties by using current data security and network technology.  However, no guarantee is made regarding data security or network security.

Updating or Changing Your Information

You can change or update your personally identifying information at any time by logging in to AnswerMate and doing the following:

1. In the left-hand menu, click Settings & Preferences >>> then, Account Information or Add/Edit Representatives.

2. Change all necessary information.

3. Click Modify Rep.

Representatives

Controlling Your Information (Opting Out)

To keep you in control of your personal information and the communications directed to you, we allow you to opt out of receiving certain e-mails from AnswerMate that alert you when new customer messages arrive. You can opt out at any time by logging in to AnswerMate and adjusting the appropriate information in the Settings & Preferences section.

Use of Cookies

Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer's hard drive. These files contain unique identification numbers, which are used to remind our system of your personal preferences, so that we can customize your visits to AnswerMate.

Cookies are not used to track your personal activities. We only use cookies to track aggregate activity on our site, such as how many people have accessed a particular page in the past month. This helps us improve AnswerMate based on how our customers are using it.

Use of IP Addresses

Every Internet user is identified by a unique number known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address. If you have a static IP address, your computer gets the same number each time you connect to the Internet. If you have a dynamic IP address, a number is assigned to your computer from a pool of addresses established by your ISP (Internet Service Provider), which can result in your computer having a different IP address each time you use the Internet. World Wide Web servers use IP addresses to identify your computer.

InternetSeer and the AnswerMate Service actively collects IP addresses during the company registration process and other processes to prevent unauthorized parties from assuming a company's identity on our site. If we believe that someone is compromising the integrity of our system by using our site or services under false pretenses, AnswerMate may use the IP address we detected during the registration process to locate that person. We also reserve the right, but shall not be obligated, to take all appropriate legal actions against parties who are using AnswerMate under false pretenses.

InternetSeer and the AnswerMate Service also passively collects IP addresses for general security purposes, system administration and reporting aggregate information for our internal development staff and business partners. When anyone uses AnswerMate, our servers log IP addresses, but we do not link this IP address to your personally identifying information. This means that while your activity is logged, you remain anonymous to us. We can and will use IP addresses to identify users when we believe it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use, or to protect our service, site, users, or other parties.

Security

Secure transmission of data is important to AnswerMate. We offer industry standard SSL.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or stored by servers connected tot he Internet can be guaranteed as 100 percent secure; but AnswerMate uses its best commercially reasonable efforts to use the current data security technology available to protect your information, and to continue to implement reasonable security methods as they become available.

Therefore, AnswerMate cannot be held directly responsible if your information is captured or intercepted by outside parties. If such a situation should arise, AnswerMate may, but shall not be obligated, to pursue legal avenues and courses of action to remedy the situation and prosecute the offending party or parties.

You should be aware that when using AnswerMate, you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our control. These other sites may send their own cookies to your computer, collect data, or solicit personal information from you. Please be aware that such sites are not bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of such sites before disclosing any personally identifying information.

Your Consent

By using AnswerMate, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in this privacy policy. If we make changes to this policy, we will post them on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it. Changes are effective when posted to this page. Your continued use after any change is posted is an acceptance by you of such change.
